My my my how things have changed. Hamas and Israel making sure Hamas doesn't have any muscle and Palestinians caught in the middle.

Meanwhile to right wing settlers are murdering Palestinians. They do have a righteous feeling about Hamas killing Israelis. However that is no excuse for a pogrom against Palestinians.

They should remember the Germany they fled from. The problem is both religions spring from the loins of Abraham and right now Abraham is turning over in his grave.

Was Hamas wrong in doing this? Of course they were, they were completely wrong. In fact the Quran what Hamas did is in direct violation of what the Quran teaches.

Israel, and by that I mean Netanyahu has made a calculated mistake. Yes you need to sever the head of the snake that is Hamas, but in doing so in the manner that Israel is carrying out the severing they have also made enemies of an entire population of Gaza, let me explain.

As Israel was incensed by the murdering of their citizens and he taking of their citizens as hostages so too are the Palestinians now bitter. This will simmer. What happens between 3 months 6 months a year and a half we don't know but we do, know that there is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth in this region of the world. I truly believe that Israel is going to have a problem unless they wipe out the entire Palestinian population which is happening at the moment.

Yes I know what collateral damage is. But when you have collective punishment then that collective punishment will come back to haunt you again and again, it will be a vicious cycle.

How many prime Ministers of Israel have been assassinated because they tried to make peace by Israeli citizens? 

Come on tell me. Israel will never be a peaceful state never unless and until they learn that for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction it is a law of nature.

So what happens now? We do know and for sure I have no idea. Israel is in Gaza, communications are non-existent for the Palestinians. Hamas has not finished yet they still hold hostages, us and Israelis.

This is just my observation, I believe he Israeli government has written off the hostages as collateral damage they are hoping to rescue them but that is the secondary outcome because they want to eliminate a Hamas.

In certain instances Israel has crossed the line and the ultra far right settlers have erased the line.

In Israel the two State solution is not popular, not really. You cannot contain people in the condition Gaza is without it exploding every few years.

The state of Israel did have a c  hance with other Arab states. 

They had gained a lot of gains with Arab states.   Most of that has gone out the window.  Those are states are Muslim, and all politics are local.

So what to do now? I have no answer. This is really up to the Israeli government it's Israeli citizens and Palestinians who have Israeli citizenship.

I do have an inkling of what will happen and not all of that is good. The state of Israel will wipe out or completely dismember Hamas and doing so it will antagonize and renew the anti-israeli sentiment of the Palestinians who have lost mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, granddaughters and grandmothers. Whose population have lost entire families. Just as Israelis have lost their loved ones. This will not sit well with Palestinians. They will come back in a year, 2 years, 3 years. They will have a long memory of this.

And Israel will mourn the Dead who were slaughtered and possibly mourn the collateral damage of the Israeli hostages.

This is a no-win situation for either the state of Israel or for Gaza.

One thing I do know, the reason the war, if you want to call it that, there was no declaration. The God  (Adonai) of Israel the Jewish, The God  (Allah) of Muslims and the God of Christians (Yahweh) had given mankind one thing that sets mankind apart, that is free will.

Free will is mankind's sword of Damocles it cuts both ways. Hamas and the state of Israel needs to be aware of this.

I'm going to make another prediction there was going to be another mass shooting I don't know when I don't know where and I don't know how but there will be another mass shooting and again thoughts and prayers will go out but nothing will be done nothing.

Unless or until someone with an AK-47 affects a Republican's family nothing will be done. I'm not advocating this I'm just stating a simple fact.

There is a reason that the red flag law is a good law. What Republican mother wants her daughter killed by an angry abusive or jealous boyfriend or husband who has an AK-47 or a 22 caliber pistol and is willing to take her daughter out and by out I don't mean going out dining I mean killing her murdering her.

Do you remember Governor Abbott loading migrants on a plane in Texas and then having it land in Florida so they can save the migrants were in Florida then flying them to Martha's vineyard?

Do you remember recently that migrants were flown from Florida to California?

Let's examine this as a true believer in the Bible and Christianity.

Let's presume we get cuts and social programs. Are you listening to me, old Republican men who are on Social security and Medicare? Are you listening to me Republican military families who are about to receive a blow to the gut?

Old Republican men who are on Social security and are dependent upon that to pay their bills and everything else, who are medically dependent on Medicaid vote every time for republicans. And you wonder why the Democrats have to come in and clean up their mess, every time.

So now you're crying like little babies because now it's a Democrat not your dear friend Donald Trump and you're afraid of him. The debt ceiling should be passed with a clean bill. Either that or use the 14th amendment or strike a platinum coin.

To The US Hispanic Population Able To Legally Vote

There have been articles and the news that some Hispanic voters May sit out the election.

You have every right to do that. You have every right to vote or not to vote. But remember in the 1920s and Los Angeles and Texas how Hispanics were treated and or sometimes prevented from voting

The Democrats did the same thing a few years ago. They cannot find the stomach to vote for Hillary rodham Clinton as president. Instead they chose a man who bankrupted a casino. How do you bankrupt a casino. He bankrupted his own airline.

With that we saw Hispanic mothers whose children were taken away from them and even now the government cannot find the parents of these children.

You only have to look to the supreme Court to find out what happens if you don't vote. Murder charges against a woman who has a miscarriage? Murder charges against a woman who has an ectopic pregnancy? Elections matter.

It comes down to who are you going to vote for that will at least, at least somewhat aligne with what you expect from your elected official.

Now this is what happens. If you are voting for a senator, and you don't like either one of them, however one of them is better than the other one. Remember, for 4 years

Meaning if you stay home and the other person, the one that you really despise and dislike, get selected he will serve for 4 years and you will not be able to vote him out of office for 4 years.

Likewise a member of the House of Representatives serves for 2 years. And a person in the house is already running for reelection so if a person was elected that you didn't want in, he's going to raise enough money to be reelected.

Elections have consequences. Hispanics, asians, blacks, native Americans another ethnicities had their own unique problems, not voting, staying home will not solve your problem.

Vote in your city elections. Vote who's going to be your dog catcher, vote who's going to be in charge of the city's finances. 

If you live in a county, vote for your supervisor vote for your sheriff vote for the judges.

City and county officials will impact your life and countless ways.

And finally the final vote, the votes for presidency the highest office that this country has. The person elected will have this office for 4 years and then we'll run for reelection.

I see a woman whose lips and mouth carry the tone of authority and protection of the human race.

No matter what the shape or size her breasts give life and protect the life that she bears.

What I am saying is that I honor all women whether you are a mother or decide not to be you are the protector of the human race not men.

I now address the men reading this. Guys don't be stupid. Honor the woman you are with are the women you are friends with. Every so often you have to ask your question did these people actually go to college did these people actually learn biology 101?

You have Republican legislators practicing medicine without a license. People who wish to become licensed physicians go four years to medical school not including the years of other college.

If they want a specialty like cardiology or OBGYN then there are more college ahead.

I'm going to start by saying I do use pill pack which is an Amazon pharmacy the reason is simple I never miss my medications and at 74 that's pretty important. However I need to choose wisely. Young people want things immediately Amazon prime then one of my things immediately use Amazon.

What you young people do not see to understand is that Amazon is a terrible employer. You would not last one day at an Amazon fulfillment center or Warehouse.

You would not last one week as an Amazon delivery driver. The working conditions are sometimes horrendous sometimes okay but always they are considered by most people atrocious.

Most young people I have met that includes men and women stays that they want their community to thrive that is a good philosophy. However using Amazon is not having your community thrive. Having your community thrive is using a mom and pop store that establish themselves five years ago in the city you live in. Shop those stores.

If you want better schools if you want better colleges if you want better fire departments and then shop locally.

Most of our founding fathers were deists that was not Christianity. Some of them were even Masons which is a direct threat to Christianity.

A little history lesson would be good about now. Go back to England and France and Henry VIII. France was a Catholic Nation England was a Catholic Nation but Henry the 8th would not be granted a divorce by the Roman Catholic Church therefore he took an across himself to move the goal posts so to speak.

Then you had the Jewish religion which was an outcast by all the others.

When Martin Luther nailed his thesis on the church door it created a schism.

During this time in Europe and England you had the Mennonites and other religions that were an offshoot of Martin Luther.

Where was one did you say if you were one religion and one day from being executed for that religion.

Well there was a country across the Atlantic with land and freedom with no religious interference.

If the founders were dogmatic about anything, it was the belief that a person’s faith should not be intruded upon by government and that religious doctrine should not be written into governance. James Madison, for instance, was vigorously opposed to religious intrusions into civil affairs. In 1785, when the Commonwealth of Virginia was considering passage of a bill “establishing a provision for Teachers of the Christian Religion,” Madison wrote his “Memorial and Remonstrance Against Religious Assessments,” in which he presented 15 reasons why government should not become involved in the support of any religion.

In his first term as president, Thomas Jefferson declared his firm belief in the separation of church and state in a letter to the Danbury, Conn. Baptists. He said: “Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should `make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between church and state.”

Notice what Thomas Jefferson said? Building a wall of separation between church and state.

Considering the Republicans of today are considering destroying that wall, the supreme Court is considering destroying that wall some of the states are considering destroying that wall. And yet the Republicans Evangelical Christians are trying to remove that wall destroy that wall that are founding fathers so thoughtfully put in place to protect all religions so that the governments of the people and for the people would continue unlike the problems that surface in Europe.

Let's say a word about our first President George Washington. Most people do not know that he was offered the appointment of King and declined it and said he would serve for only a short period of time and return to his farm. Yeah most of the Republicans and most of the Democrats hold on to this power and do not act like a responsible stewart of government.

And to all the Evangelical Christians and the far right who say that George Washington was a shining star to all Christians. Ask your pastor ask your Reverend what he thinks of being a mason of being a deist which is contrary to every Christian concept.

A treaty of peace and friendship between the United States and Tripoli that was approved by George Washington explicitly stated: “The government of the United States is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion…” This treaty was negotiated by the American diplomat Joel Barlow during the administration of George Washington. Washington read it and approved it, although it was not ratified by the senate until John Adams had become president.

Finally, and most obviously, if the founding fathers intended to include Jesus, the Bible, or other particular aspects of the Christian faith in the founding of our nation, they would have expressly done so. However, the two references to religion that are in the Constitution contain exclusionary language. The First Amendment says, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion. . .” and in Article VI, Section III, “… no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

As for Thomas Jefferson the man, he was a very complex individual living in an era where religion could get you killed.

Jefferson expressed his fervent belief in the importance of the separation of religion and government in many personal letters and official documents, but one of the most famous instances was in his letter to the Danbury Baptists. In this letter Jefferson quoted the First Amendment in his agreements with the Danbury Baptists that states should not have established governments and that all religion and government should be separate. Jefferson then goes on to say the famous line, “…..thus building a wall of separation between Church & State.”

Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Deism wasn’t a widely popular religion in 18th century America, but it did have a small, influential pool of followers. Deism began in Europe in the 17th century along with the Enlightenment. Deists of the 17th and 18th centuries often attempted to downplay the differences in their beliefs to traditional Christianity to keep debate from breaking out into a larger controversy.  While deism follows many of the beliefs of Christianity, it rejects the supernatural aspects. Deists believe in the moral teachings of Jesus Christ, but they do not believe that he was the son of God.

So what does this mean in 2022 and 2023? It means that our founding fathers were very wise. They saw the conflicts between France and england. They saw what happened when King the lionhearted went on a crusade to the holy lands and were slaughtered as were the caliphates.

What happens in 3 to 6 years? Oh yes we're a large country we have a large population but if 35% of men and women decide to have no children whatsoever what are the consequences?

One consequence is the volunteer army which is already having problems obtaining recruits. The second consequence is corporations who are trying desperately to find qualified people and the third consequence is who is going to teach those children or a better way to say it who cares

That shit crazy supreme Court made a very serious error. And the bat shit crazy people and those States are going to be met with some very serious complications.

Republicans love to talk about the LGBT community as a groomers. What does it say about the Republicans who insist that a 10-year-old girl be forced to give birth when her body is not even able to stand the pressure much less the psychological injury. The Republican party groomers of minor girls.

I would urge every woman to read about this play research then network with other women in your community.

I've been noticing that boycott Walgreens boycott CVS. There is another way to do this.

Whatever I have visited a pharmacy such as CVS or Walgreens I never have seen MD after the name of the pharmacist.

Is It Time for Jedge Dred?

The United States and it's collective citizens have a problem, gangs. Drive by's, innocent children shot. Families in anguish. Which now begs the question, is it time for a Judge Dred. You know who I am talking about. Sylvester Stallone who played Judge Dred.  The film takes place in 2080 and depicts a dystopian world and the crime-ridden metropolis Mega-City. (more on the Judge Dred Movies here. The last sentence is from Wikipedea).

The reason I ask if it is time for a Judge Dred is that there seems nothing can be done to stop gangs like MS-13 or other gangs like them. Judge Dred was lawyer in charge of the defense (asking the defendant was guilty), prosecutor, judge and executioner, although most of the time the defendant ended up being guilty and the out come for the defendant was not good. 

Judge Dred carried out extra judicial executions sanctioned by the government in a lawless society trying to protect what little normalcy was left.  In the same way, perhaps it is time for a  Judiciary capable and authorized by Congress and sanctioned by the Supreme Court. 

In this scenario the United states would be broken into 6 districts; North Western Judicial, South Western Judicial.  Over the Rockies it would be Mid North Judicial, Mid South Judicial. Past the Mississippi it would be North Eastern Judicial and South Easter Judicial.

Once both  houses of congress agrees that a particular gang poses a 'CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER' to the United States and it's citizens, the Supreme Court reviews the CaPD and notifies congress if it does or not.  (this being the check and balance. taking into account the citizens killed by the gang. The FEDERAL MARSHAL'S OFFICE  will train and deputize 100 people per district and a special 'badge' will be created for those deputized officers.  The RICO EXECUTION WARRANT will then be sent to one of the six districts that requested the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT.

At any time the district can rescind the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT if the gang in question takes steps NOT to be a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to the united states.  Once the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT is issued 25 of the SPECIAL FEDERAL MARSHALS will be sent to carry out the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT on  the gang   The warrant will list the names of those on the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT.  

Once set in motion and the congress and supreme Court has reviewed the names and the district agrees there is no reprieve. Those listed on the RICO EXECUTION WARRANT will be met with extreme prejudice.

Do I think this will ever happen? Probably not. If it does and nothing changes will it happen?  Perhaps if everything stays the same the the citizens get fed up. That will take about 50 years or longer. .

Remember the gangster Al Capone? He was not taken down for murder he was taken down after the IRS looked over his finances.  We have a similar situation with the gangs though it is not exactly the same. Right now the RICO statute is used as a very effective tool a looking at the way the gangs are organzied.

TIME TO GET DOWN AND DIRTY WITH GOOGLE INC.

I would urge every one who is upset at Google for not allowing a choice in this matter who has stock in Google Inc. to dump their stock now then call three other people who own large amounts of Google Inc stock to dump their stock too, and so on and so on.

That this company is so insensitive to their own users is amazing. I would also ask any one who knows of any other google type suites that integrate email (gmail), calendar (gmail) and voice (google voice) to step forward as did Open Office dot Org and create and open source that will be friendly if Google Inc does not come to their senses.

My Country Tis of Thee

     President Donald Trump has not accomplished very much.  Comparing President Obama's nine executive orders to President Trump's executive orders  of seven, President Trump is catching up with President Obama.  Trump was always complaining about Obama's  signing of executive orders. 
     No bill has passed the house and senate and been senate for President Trump to sign. The only area that has happened is Judge Gorsuch elevation to the Supreme Court.  No bills, nothing. Not a very good track record considering that the Republicans have control of the House, Senate and the Office of the President.
     When Trump  said that John McCain was not a hero, is not a war hero, it became a challenge to  McCain.  did McCain forget this?  Of course he didn't.   When the book came to repeal all volunteer John McCain remembered what Trump said about him, about him not being a hero..  After spending time as a prisoner of war, suffering under brutal conditions unlike Trump,, who had a deferment  for bone spurs, McCain was trying to protect his country.  So when the plan about came to repeal Obama care.  John McCain stood in the House of Representatives and put his thumb down, thereby rubbing Trump's nose into his ill fated response that McCain was not a hero.

     Now Trump has a larger problem on his hands.  He has hurricane  Harvey to deal with.  Not so long ago in the history of Republican Party, and especially the Republican Party of Texas. On or about October 2012 Eric Cantor and Mitt Romney said, "Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) notoriously said federal disaster aid should be met with budget cuts, while presidential nominee Mitt Romney appeared to suggested during a debate in June that FEMA should be shuttered in favor of individual states taking on disaster relief management" (source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/30/republicans-fema-disaster-relief-funding_n_2044259.html).  Search Google for other instances of where Republicans want to cut FEMA.
      let's go ahead and add a bake sale of all the churches in Houston.  Oh wait, that didn't work out too well  before didn't?  In a red state like Texas a specially Houston Texas, the red state Republicans are crying send us FEMA money, send us FEMA relief. This after trashing FEMA, this after stating  FEMA was a waste. Now all of a sudden they want the federal government to step in and save them? What hypocrites. Yes I know Harvey was a real disaster. But after bad mouthing FEMA the quislings in the Rep;ublcan party turn tail and run the the Federal Government. Must like Rick Perry did when he shorted the fire fighters volunteer fire departments then asked for Federal funds to shore up what he had done.
     According to the Christian Monitor, "This week, the administration gave seven local disaster declarations to specific Texas counties, but Perry criticized the federal government for not making bulldozers at Fort Hood available to firefighters in nearby Bastrop County. This after the Republican-led Texas Legislature cut volunteer fire department "assistance grants" for equipment like bulldozers by 75 percent this summer to help balance the state budget.      I can go on. Two things stand out Transgender people serving in the armed forces of the United States and the DACA children. (Though no longer children.

     Let me first address the Transgender armed forced personnel serving in harms way. Thank you for your service. However that being said, the sitting Republican President, Donald Trump and the Republican Party will never be comfortable with you at their "table". They have been stringing you along. Every one of you in the LGBT community who voted Republican or voted for someone else thinking Hillary Clinton was bad, well now you have Trump who will pander to his base. How many gay or lesbian people did you see on stage with a Republican running for any office? Or how many Republicans did you see fighting for your rights as a person?  Those LGBT people who voted for someone else because they could not stomach Hillary or those LGBT people who outright voted for Trump, well now you have him you own it. If and I say if I were LGBT or gay or lesbian, I would immediately  request separation from service because, "The president of the United States has firmly stated that I can no longer serve since I am transgender."  If you are gay or lesbian you can phrase it as, "The president of the United States has made it clear that gay or lesbian service members are not welcome in the military. For this reason I submit my resignation." Of course both of these may or may not work. However if enough of you do this it will leave a paper trail. Let's say some of it works. What then? Private companies like Google, Lockheed, General Electric and other areas are open. Make sure you have locked down your second career before separating from the Armed Forces.

     Now we come to DACA. Hispanics have had a rough ride with the Republican party. They want your votes and you gave them your votes in the last election. Example 1, Roberto Beristain: "Helen Beristain voted for Donald Trump even though she is married to an undocumented immigrant.

In November, she thought Trump would deport only people with criminal records -- people he called "bad hombres" -- and that he would leave families intact.

"I don't think ICE is out there to detain anyone and break families, no," Beristain told CNN affiliate  WBST in March, shortly after her husband, Roberto Beristain was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

     On Wednesday, Beristain was proven wrong as ICE split her family across two countries.

 Roberto Beristain, 44, was deported back to Mexico despite having no criminal record, family attorney Adam Ansari said.

     "He hadn't committed any crimes. He didn't even have a parking ticket," Ansari said. "From everyone's accounts he is probably one of the most lovable guys you will ever meet.      Oh no! Well what did you expect. Trump is pandering to his base. Yes he was in the country illegally however he owned a restaurant, owned, paying taxes and employing people.  No case study for leniency. They could have fined him and put him on probation for 3 years and issued a green card.

     Now onto DACA. Federal agents ignored President Trump's pledge to protect from deportation undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children by sending a young man back to his native Mexico, the first such documented case, a USA TODAY examination of the new administration's immigration policies shows.

     After spending an evening with his girlfriend in Calexico, Calif., on Feb. 17, Juan Manuel Montes, 23, who has lived in the U.S. since age 9, grabbed a bite and was waiting for a ride when a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer approached and started asking questions.

     Montes was twice granted deportation protections under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program created by President Barack Obama and left intact by President Trump.

Montes had left his wallet in a friend's car, so he couldn't produce his ID or proof of his DACA status and was told by agents he couldn't retrieve them.      So did you Hispanics vote for Donald Trump either thinking he would not deport an illegal who is productive and contributing to the United States? Yea, I thought so.  Were you a DACA person who thought Hillary was just way to bad to vote for and either voted for another candidate or voted for Trump. Well DACA people you have your worst nightmare. 

     What to do now. If you are a DACA person I would suggest you see if you have dual citizenship. If you do, take up the language of your choice for the next 4 months then check job opportunities. Another way is to ask for asylum from Canada stating that you have a degree and would like to provide Canada with your skills asking your family be granted asylum too.

     President Trump will always pander to his base. He watches Fox News religiously and tweets to protect himself. 

     If you are in the military, transgender, gay or lesbian seek new employment and career. Request separation legally from the military. Consult an attorney familiar with military law specifically with the Code of Military Justice in particular honorable separation from the military. 

    For those who are here illegally who have a business, sell the business now before ICE comes knocking at your door. Make sure you have your family ready to seek asylum in Canada. 

   For those who are DACA children make the move now. Don't wait. Get all your documents ready for the move to Canada.      Above all do not believe Donald Trump nor the Republican Party. Move and move now.

    

What It Means Today

A lot of things come to mind when the Christmas Season is upon us. Family and friends and depression is always around the corner. I remember when I saw how sad my mother was when dad left her when I was in my early teens. A young boy can only do so much since he does not have all the skills an adult has. However, he does have that love a child has for his mother. Same goes for any of you who have the empathy for those close to you. Remember too, if you are lucky to have a nice warm house with a Christmas tree or Hanukkah candles with presents and a nice dinner setting, remember there are others who for reasons known and unknown have nothing. They live in a cardboard house under an over pass or hidden by the trees near a lake or stream and to them survival is not just some unknown arena, it is as real as it gets.  It means you are lucky, you have been given a break that others have not. Remember this and the question that most are afraid to ask if you are a Christian, "What would Christ do?"

Now What.

I am going to be as objective as I can be in this blog, "Now What".  If you don't know by now who the president elect is you have either been, a) living under rock b) living underground with troglodytes (yeah I know, look it up) or c) had been kidnapped by aliens from Barsoom and returned. (Google Barsoom).

The Constitution is a rather unusual document. Nothing like it exists, although some of the precepts can analyzed by reading the Ten Commandments, Hammurabi Code (which predate the Ten Commandments and the Magna Carta.

One particular law in the Constitution involves "Gifts", Another country granting a title to a sitting president or sitting vice president,  "The Nobility Clause",  The emoulments clause as addressed by the Heritage Foundation

If you are a Yale student or grad (sorry Harvard) you can read it here.  The Avalon Project which I truncated to be specific.  ".....No titular nobility. Officers not to receive presents, etc" along with sub section 8.  "8. No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no person holding any office or profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state."

So what does this mean? It means a sitting president is not allowed to receive presents or gifts or titles of office. The On Line Merriam Dictionary has an extensive definition and examples of this.

The other side of the coin is that the president elect and the vice president elect is not subject to ethics in divestiture.  All other elected officials are. There is a difference in emolument and divestiture As outlined by outlined by Jack Maskell of the Congressional Resarch Service.

If a president  receives a call from a Saudi Prince asking for more jet fighters and the president elect asks if the Prince can help in his hotel being built (a quid pro quo)

The president and the vice president elect are exempt from the ethics laows outlined by the CRS.

So there you have it. Read the links and google some more. I would also search using the .gov, .org or .edu endings since these will be more objective than subjective.

Now time for me to be subjective. Do I think it's right for a sitting president or sitting vice president not to be held accountable for ethics violations when every other lawfully elected officials are? No I don't think it's right. Do I think that the president elect and the vice president elect will actually divest their holdings (sell their holdings and place those funds into a blind trust fund (Blind trust means blind. The person who holds the trust has not connection to the person who is the person who put the assets into the blind trust.  That does not mean any relatives, close relatives (children) who are close and advising him are proper custodians for such a blind trust.

If a sitting president has properties in different countries and has his name or is granting license to use his name on properties, then those properties should be sold and as I stated before, held in a blind trust.

Did the American people speak? Yes they did. He won the electoral vote and lost the popular vote. In my next blog I will explain both sides as to why it is very dangerous to even consider eliminating the electoral college.

OMG! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!

Please notice I am shouting.  Really, ladies are you actually kidding me?  ABC, Anyone But Clinton.  Let's review this.  If you ladies  are not for Clinton, will not vote for Clinton, will not even consider voting for Clinton, then you will hand the election over to Donald Trump.  Some of the women have actually said that if Hillary Clinton is the nominee of the Democratic Party they will vote for Donald Trump.  Really? OMG

Really?  The ladies, and the men who are for Bernie Sanders and wake up now.  You saw what happened in the midterm elections, did you not?  We lost the Senate and we lost the House. why did we lose the Senate and the House?  Some said it was because they were disappointed in Obama.  Others  said the House and Senate were safe, Democrats should just stay home and know everything was fine. (And again my refrain: OMG ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!)

I know Jeff Weaver, Sanders campaign manager wants to rail against Hillary Clinton.  That's his job.  However, there comes a time when you give ammunition to the Republican Party to destroy the democratic nominee.  All you have to do is read two books,  Machiavelli, and the art of war by Sun Tzu.

The problem in this election cycle is that Donald Trump is not running as a politician, he's running as a salesman.  A politician and the salesman or similar, yes, but totally different.  Look at the way Donald Trump has run his campaign.

If you think the last four years for the Democrats were bad, with a Republican Congress do nothing at all, and if you stay at home or vote for Donald Trump, you will have Donald Trump as your president for next four years.  Let me repeat that, YOU WILL HAVE DONALD TRUMP AS YOUR PRESIDENT FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS.

I'm now going to address the women who were either passionate about Bernie Sanders or hate Hillary Clinton's guts. WAKE UP LADIES!  And you men who are against Hillary Clinton and are hard set as the granite, you need to ask yourself, is Donald Trump going to change his style if he is elected president of the United States.  Remember, Donald Trump is not running as a politician he is running as a salesman.

Anyone who has worked in commission only sales knows the only thing that is important is the sale.  It doesn't matter if you're selling cars, selling vacuum cleaners on running for political office in the disguise of a politician knowing you are running in what made you millions, that of a salesman.

Bernie supporters, both men and women  and those independents who might withhold your votes,  are progressive in their passion, wake up because on election day you'll  have as president, Donald Trump, or Hillary Clinton.  And there is another pesky problem, the presidency is not won on the popular vote, its won in the electoral college.

How many black people, and I'm not talking about the token blacks.  I am asking about the black men and black women.  How many are on the podium and Donald Trump?  In the L G B T community, how many are standing on the podium with Donald Trump?  You students with huge, student debt, how many of you between the ages of twenty and twenty-five are on the podium with Donald Trump, explaining how he will move forward, lessening the burden on you and your family?  I can go on and on, the simple fact is, Donald Trump has no answers.

Hillary Clinton now must protect herself on two fronts, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump.  Does anyone remember when Raph Nader ran for president?

If anyone wants to doubt the semblance between Ralph Nader and Bernie Sanders, look no further than the George W. Bush, Al Gore and Ralph Nader presidential race in 2000.  What should be happening, and probably won't, is Bernie Sanders, pivoting sharing, notice I use the word sharing not telling, his supporters that he will do everything he can to make sure they are represented, but the reality is he has no chance and will support Hillary Clinton and ensure his supporters will be heard.  He does not have enough delegates.  Mr. Weaver also has to pivot to this, and unless this is done, you have the very real chance of Donald Trump becoming the president of the United States


I ask all of you progressive women, all of you progressive men, do not allow what happened in the Presidential election of 2000 or midterm election of 2012.  If we lose the presidency and lose the House and lose the Senate, if you think gridlock was bad then.  However, I have seen Democrats, progressives and independents shoot themselves in the foot over and over again because of ideological differences.  You shoot yourselves in the foot and hurt your own cause by letting the Republicans win again and again.

So, if the Democratic Party,, and I know, the Democratic Party has problems, if the Democratic Party,  progressives, the independent voters with progressive thinking, the women,, Hispanic community,  the black community, the young students who are saddled with the immense student debt, the Asians, the L G B T community, who want to be included in this you need to pivot now ransition people!

COMING DOWN TO THE WIRE: Why Progressives and Liberals Shoot Themselves In the Foot.

    It's now coming down to the wire.  All of you progressives and liberals who think that the Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the worst president in the world think about this one thing; President Donald  J. Trump, or President Ted Cruz.
    If you stay home and do not go to for Hillary Clinton if she is the nominee or Bernie Sanders, if he is the nominee then by default you are voting Republican.
    This is what happens when you don't vote.   You also have the problem of the down ballot. That pesky little thing that will lose the Senate and the House of Representatives for the Democrats.
   I  will not bore you again with why the Democrats lost  in 2012. You Democrats who stayed home in 2012 gave away the Senate and gave way the House of Representatives to the Republicans. You by not voting handed Congress to the Republicans in 2012.
     I will not tell you what to do.  I will however, explain to you, what will happen, should you stay home and be a little child pounding your little feet on the floor like a two-year-old in a temper tantrum.
    If Hillary is nominated as the presidential candidate for president of the United States, and it looks like she is going to be the nominee,  you had better vote for her.   Do you really as a progressive, and as a liberal really think that Donald J. Trump  would be the best president ever for the progressive movement in the United States? Do you really think that?  Do you really think that Ted Cruz will be the best president for the progressive and liberal movements in the United States?  Do you really think that?
  As I shared just now, it does look like Hillary will win the nomination.  The question is, will we have a Democrat in the White House, along with the down ballots of Democratic Senators and House of Representatives, or will we have Donald J. Trump and Ted Cruz, and totally lose the Senate and the House of Representatives to the Republicans again like in 2012?
   Think people think.  Hold your nose and vote the Democratic nominee if you are a liberal or a progressive.  If you don't, you have just defaulted in switching your party to Republican by not voting.
